Terms of sale
1. Who you are buying from
RODA, trading as RODA Plugins
These terms apply when you buy a plugin from this website. If you buy as a consumer, the Norwegian Right of Withdrawal Act (angrerettloven) and other consumer laws also apply, and nothing in these terms limits your rights under them.
2. What you get
When you buy a plugin you get a personal, non-exclusive licence to download it and use it on your own computers, including in commercial music you make with it. You may not share, resell or rent out the plugin or your download links, or try to bypass any copy protection. The plugin itself stays the property of RODA Plugins.
3. Prices and payment
Prices are shown in your local currency where available (for example NOK in Norway and USD elsewhere) and include any VAT that applies. The price you pay is the price shown at checkout. Payments are handled securely by Stripe. We never see or store your card details.
4. Delivery
You need an account to buy. As soon as your payment goes through, the plugin appears in My plugins, where you can download it straight away and again later. A receipt is sent to your email by Stripe.
5. Right of withdrawal
Normally, consumers in Norway and the EU can cancel an online purchase within 14 days. For digital content such as a plugin download, this right ends once delivery has started, if you have agreed to that.
Before you pay, we ask you to confirm that you want immediate access to the plugin and that you understand you lose your right of withdrawal when the download is made available. If you confirm, the purchase is final once the plugin is available in My plugins. You can't complete a purchase without this confirmation.
6. If something is wrong
If the plugin doesn't work as described, contact us within a reasonable time after you notice the problem and tell us what happens on your system. We'll try to fix it, and if we can't, you're entitled to a refund under consumer law. Check the formats and system requirements on the plugin's page before you buy.
7. Refunds
Apart from the cases in section 6, purchases are not refundable once the plugin has been made available. If you think you've been charged by mistake, email us and we'll look into it.
8. Liability
We work hard to make reliable plugins, but we aren't responsible for indirect losses such as lost work or lost income, except where the law says we must be. Keep backups of your projects.
9. Complaints and disputes
Please contact us first. We'll do our best to sort things out. If we can't agree, you can get help from the Norwegian Consumer Council (Forbrukerrådet, forbrukerradet.no), and the dispute can be brought before the Norwegian Consumer Disputes Commission (Forbrukerklageutvalget). Norwegian law applies.
10. Changes
We may update these terms. The version that applies to your purchase is the one shown on this page when you bought it.
